Miss Benning was a health teacher at the largest private high school in the local community. Although she had been teaching for only four years, she had already established a reputation as a person with a teaching methodology that inspired and motivated the students in her class to think and to learn. Now that is a teacher taking initiative. Although I learned about alcoholism from my parent’s knee, I think it would be good for all schools to have this curriculum.
